CIRCULAR – ACAAP’s Elections 2016-2017

 

The  Election  Commission  of ACAAP after scrutiny of nomination papers for Election of the Executive Committee 2016-2017, has declared following candidates as qualified to contest for total  six (6) vacant seats as per below details.

In   compliance   with   Trade  Organizations  Rules 2013 and  ACAAP’s Election Schedule 2016-2017, it  is   notified

that the election for Executive Committee will  take  place on Saturday, 17th September, 2016 from 03:00 pm to 5:00 pm at ACAAP’s Head Office Suite No.305, 3rd Floor, Fortune Center, 45-A, Block-6, P.E.C.H.S. Karachi for voters of Southern Zone and at ACAAP’s Regional Office, Suite No.1, 2nd Floor, Sharjah Centre, 62, Shadman Market, Lahore for voters of Northern Zone.

 

 

Objection:-

 

  • If any, may be submitted to the Election Commission by Friday, 2nd September 2016 up to 4:00 pm.

 

Withdrawals:-

 

  • Candidate can withdraw their candidature latest by Wednesday,  7th September 2016 up to 4:00 pm.

 

  • Candidates   are   requested   to   provide   name   of   polling   agents   and   their   copies  of  CNIC,  by Friday, 9th September 2016 up to 4:00 pm.

 

Important Notes:-

  • Votes to be cast in person, proxies are not allowed.
  • The polling will be held through secret ballot at venues ACAAP’s Head Office, Karachi for voters of

Southern Zone and ACAAP’s Regional Office, Lahore for voters of Northern Zone.

  • Access to polling area shall be restricted to eligible voters / or polling agents.
  • Camera / mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the polling area.
  • Candidates shall not be allowed to campaign / canvass inside polling area and / or within 10 meters of the restricted area.
